looks, larger tires, followed by increased off road capability

No kidding

Anywhoo, I did a small lift for looks. I wanted to run 35s and I always wanted a lifted truck vs stock since I was in diapers. So, one day I said the hell with it, busted out the CC, and here I am, lifted with 35s

Some people here lift for the "real" reason, which is offroading. I don't use my truck to do trail runs and rock climbing, so that had no bearing on my desiscion.

Here are my reasons:

1. Makes my truck look really mean
2. You can fit larger tires
3. Increased ground clearance
4. So it's easier to go off-roading
5. Because it's cool! Need I say more?

Josiah is a little bit out there.

Captain Morgan was an ******* who screwed people over on the forum. Don't you remember him bitching about how much stuff he was breaking and he was going to buy a straight axled truck? I guess he needed money to fix his truck so he decided to screw people over.

There are plenty of us that romp on our trucks.

I've taken my truck up and over **** most of yall wouldn't dare drive a beater over ! It all comes down to the driver. If I break my truck, I am the one who fixes it. I can do all the work myself and have other vehicles as DD. I also have other off road rigs as real beaters and to play on rocks.

I lifted cuz these trucks look goofy with stock sized tires IMO. Also, I tow my Samurai to off road parks and what not, was getting tired of dragging my belly everywhere and smashin the dif on rocks and what not.
