I am looking to upgrade my 2wd suspension, but instead of going the subframe lift kit route I am thinking of going the more drivability/durability route. Uniball uca's, heim joint steering components and am looking at the camburg 2.5" race coil overs. This is alot of money and not much lift, but I kinda like the desert racing look better. Just my two cents. I think you can still upgrade with the same type of components on your fabtech lift, may be better money spent if you still have the lift rather than buying a different kit.

keep in mind a lot of the ride quality has to do with tire selection. were you running a MT tire then? if so, you may want to consider an AT this time around.

that tire might not help you soften your ride up. what size rims? larger rim will give you a harder ride also

Also Shock choice has a lot to do with it as well. What shocks did you run with the Fabtech?

Also what was your complaint about the ride?

Next thing is how big of a lift do you want to go with?
