Lowering Question?

I have a 07 Supercrew FX2 sport and I have been doing some research on lowering it. I would like to lower the back by 4 inches and the front by 3. I am new to F-150's and suspension so please bear with me. My questions are the following...

(1) Do I need to buy shocks if I lower the truck with springs.

(2) If I do need shocks as well, what is the best priced kit for quality shocks and springs.

Thanks in advance, Jaime.

If I were you I'd go with Eibach 2/4 pro truck system springs (35112.550) and the Eibach pro truck damper kit (35112.840).

Also, look down in the street scene section, that's where us lowered guys hang out. Lots of good info there.

The rear you'll need new shocks at the least, the stock ones won't work with the piston being bottomed out. I'm running stock front coilovers with a GF 2" drop coil and it doesn't match the rear well, I have 3" eibach leafs and GF rear shocks, funky match.

You can do it that way, but I'm not satisfied with how mine rides right now so I'll be getting the eibach pro damper kit soon. Should even things out.

I have a mcgaughys front coil with custom made leaf springs on my screw. It also has a 2-3" drop shackle with custom shocks and shock extenders. I had a few different things on the rear and finally got the ride and stance i wanted with this set up. My whole suspension and 22" wheels and tires are for sale for $2100. The tires have a good amount of tread on them and i have a brand new set in my garage that comes with the kit. If anyone is interested i wont ship but will set up pick up anywhere in so cal. If you guys have any questions of comments please contact me. Give me e-mail for pics as i dont know how to post pics.

I wanted to do a full suspension kit, but no money. I just did a 2 1/2 rear shackle drop, turned out nice. Topped it off with some 305/45/22's.
