2WD U-bolt length

Do any of you happen to know the length of the stock 2WD u-bolts from an 05-08 NBS? Just a regular 2WD like an XL or STX, No FX2 or 4wd.

I believe I measured mine at 7.5 inches a few weeks ago when I replaced them.

I acquired some 1 inch blocks from an fx2...needed 8.5 bolts. Couldn't find any shorter than 10 or 11 inches at the local off road shops, but found a local company (in Houston) that bends em while you wait for 10 bucks a ubolt.

Oh thank God! I knew I wasn't the first one to do this. That is exactly what I am doing. Thanks, I will look for the 8.5" bolts. Fat Bob's online has them but I needed the measurement before I ordered and I don't have my truck with me today. Thanks again.

I'd measure yours to be on the safe side. mine could have more leafs than yours, etc. I have a 2wd Screw Lariat with tow package. I do know that the oem u bolts were 7.5, but it could be different for your truck. (that's my disclaimer)

Hey man, do you have a picture of your FX2 blocks installed? I want to make sure I get them in correctly.
