Hey guys, I just got my FX2 rear 1" blocks from Itasca in the mail and I talked to Domenic at Tasca and he said the FX2 used the same u-bolts as my STX does. He even checked the part numbers and said they were the same. I don't think this is true though, that or I am being paranoid. I just went and looked at my current setup and my U-bolts have about an inch of threads showing without the 1" blocks. When I put the blocks in the bolts will have just enough room to run down even with the end of the u-bolts. Is this bad? Should I get longer u-bolts?

 

Nobody? I am installign these this weekend. Help please! Heck a picture of a stock FX2 u-bolts would help.

 

In case anyone is interested, I talked to Domenic again today and he confirmed that they are the same. He sent me an exploded view of the rear suspension which verifies it. He is a real good guy and I highly recommend going through him and www.getfordparts.com for parts.
