Need Alignment?

I recently ordered a 3" leveling kit and it's sitting in the kitchen. Then I read several times that it will kill my ball joints and to never go past 2.5". My mistake, research then buy not the other way around. So I've since ordered some Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks instead of a typical leveling kit. My question here is will I still need to get an alignment as you would when installing the leveling kit?

05 Lariat SCAB 5.4
AF1 3"
Roush Offroad
Troyer pulleys should be here tomorrow
Bilstein 5100's shortly
Tunes next
Headers, e-fans??

very good idea with the shocksyes you will need an alighnment with ANY amount of lift. as the tie rods angles change so does the toe in..ALWAYS. it will also increase negative camber and positive caster slightly.

Thanks paralyzer, that is what i was thinking but wanted to be sure. The guys that I would normally have align the truck is probably who will put the shocks on. But if I could save a buck I was going to. No prob. one trip, one bill. Only problems is that one guy in the shop is reserve town police (small town, they get board). Hopefully he doesn't realize the roush o/r isn't technically legal but I've have seen and heard his Expediton so I should be good there.
