Am I disassembling this right??

I am attempting to install my leveling kit...Got my tire removed..Step one complete..

I am trying to remove the 18mm nut of the sway bar (underneath).. I have been turning and turning it...(with a 15mm wrench at the top)..This thing sure seems like it is just spinning..

Am I doing it right? Is this the right nut I should be taking off? I have pix but apparently I cant post them??

Thanks!!

Skip it.

Edit: I'd try to skip the LCA mount if possible also. Pop the ball joint off and see if you can just undo the top 3 bolts. Add the kit and see if you can muscle it back in there.

Put a pair of vise-grips on the rod part to hold it. Should come right off.

I just did mine this weekend. Dont bother with the 18mm nut underneath. Take off the top nuton the sway bar, it will spin but you can use a small wrench to hold the rod, you can see where, just under the rubber joint. If you dont take this off, you will not be able to get the thing back in.
