I have a 3 - 5 drop on my 2007 Harley Davidson and I love it ! ! ! It has 3" Beltech drop springs in the front, and a 4" McGoughy's Leaf Spring with a 1" drop shackle in the rear. It comes out to about a 4 1/2" - 5" drop in the rear. It looks awsome. I get compliments on it all the time. I have no rubbing issues with it at all either. I am running the stock 22' rims with the stock 275 45-22 tires. I think you will like the belltech rear drop better as my back end bounces around pretty good over bumps. I say go for it. You will not be disapointed.

I agree. I also doubt that your load carrying ablity will be affected at all.
