2.5AS installed!

https://www.f150online.com/galleries...cfm?gnum=11665

First time trying to post a link, so if I screw up, sorry! Anyway, I installed the 2.5AS this morning and as many have posted, intall was very easy. 2 hours which included a run to the store to get a 30mm deep well! The 1.5AS block is going in later this week when I can use my buddies lift!

Sorry for the crappy pic, used the cell phone. Once I get the rear blocks in and the 18" FX4 wheels with 35x12.50x18 BFG KM2's (wheels are in the garage and the tires are ordered) on, I'll get some better pics up.

I didn't measure the actual AS spacer's height, but it will not be 2.5" tall for the 2.5" lift, or 2" tall for the 2"lift. The spacer for the 2.5" lift may only be 2.0" in height for example, but when installed on the strut, which is lifted the exact same # of inches as the spacer is tall, the lift you get at the wheel is higher, aka the approximate advertised lift height of 2.5". I also didn't measure before and after on the truck, but as it sits now (before alignment), the front appears to be slightly higher than rear. It is actually closer to level, but because the front fender well opening is larger than the rear, it gives the appearance of slightly higher in the front. Either way, the 1.5"AS rear blocks are going in!

Mine's black so not related, either that or different father!

You are right! I just listed it by how much it was lifted. 2.5" lifted front (via spacer) and 1.5" lifted rear (via replacing the factory 1 5/8 block with the AS 3" block) netting appriximately 1.5" lift in the rear.

Thanks for all the compliments! I am very happy,...for now! My truck may grow with my kids! As it sits now, my 2.5 year old can just climb up into the truck and into his car seat! I have a 7 month old that I'll have to wait on before I think about going bigger!

Yup, only at full lock turned one way or the other, which is very easy to stay away from without really causing an inconvenience in daily driving.
