2" lowering shackles

i bought a pair of lowering shackles on ebay, and they didn't come with shims. from the description i kinda had a feeling they wouldn't. anyway, is there a place where i can just buy the shims by themselves? or is there a chance i may not even need the shims? i have an 06 Screw. thanks folks!

If you have a vibration you'll need shims. If not, you won't need shims.

it would be nice to have them on hand if i did get the vibration. think it's worth a shot installing them without the shims?

It's worth a shot. Personally though, I would rather have the shims in there regardless. That was why I went with the Ground Force kit. I wanted the pinion to be in it's origial position.

Here's my .02 My mech installed mine and forgot to put in the shims. The vibration was at 60 on up. He came over later in the day and put the shims in. I've had them in for 32k with no issues. As for finding just the shims I can't help.

It's my understanding that if you have the 2 piece drive shaft, you are less likely to have a vibration without the shims. That extra joint compensates for the angle.

I bought shims only from Summit Racing. I don't remember what I gave for them but they were cheap.
