Question lowered suspension

i have a 2004 4.6L RWD reg cab stx stepside with 265/70R17 wheels with a 2.5" lift leveling kit. now i want to get get the top-of-the-line 20" wheels from ford with 275/55R20 tires and then lower my truck. what do u guys think is the best lowered suspension setup i should go with without worrying about clearance issues? i just want a simple setup, nothing wild. just mild. so should i just level it out by bringing the front back down to stock height and lower the back to level it out? or what?

Ground Force 2" lowering shackles are what you need.

I have a 3-5 drop on my truck, 2007 harley davidson with the stock 22" wheels. Tires are 275 45-22 and I have no rubbing issues what so ever. Not sure how the 275 55's will compare to the 275 45's but I think you should be able to clear a 3-5 drop. Or you could at least do a 2-4 drop.

THose two tire sizes should be the same overall height and width. Personally, I'd go with the 22's.

Roush susspension drop

You could purchase the Roush susspension from Woodhouse for around $1100, I believe its a 2/3 drop with new rear leaves, new front coils, larger anti sway bar, and four new shocks . I believe their Bilsteins. The truck will handle like a sports car.

Mine is an '08 HD Screw with a 3.5/5 DJM drop, stock 22's with no probs. If you go low, don't forget to get an alignment and have the pinion angle checked after you drop it.

Thumbs up Lowering Shop

I got an 07 FX2 and I have been wanting to get my truck lowered. I can not do it myself, are their shops that do this kind of thing and can anyone recommend a good shop around the DFW area. I was wanting to get it leveled but lower nothing wild just mild perhaps put some P275/55R20s on it. Suggestions welcomed.
