New BDS 8" kit

BDS just put out an 8" kit so I thought I'd let you guys know. Here's a pic of the kit with rear leaf springs and also have an option for blocks and add a leaf.

looks good, i like that front crossmember. I wish fabtech gave all new leaf springs with their kit, i dont like the way blocks look. Im guessing that kit just uses stock coilsprings.

Is that a spacer I see in there to get some of the front lift?

Looks like its about 3200 with the leaf springs and 2800 for the rear blocks and add a leaf. I would definitely go with this kit over rize or cst because you have a much bigger name manufacturer and the only lift kit manufacturer (that I know of) with a no fine print warranty so if something breaks they replace it no questions asked.

From the BDS website, it looks as though the price for the 8" kit with the block and add-a-leaf (+5.5" Total) is $2817. The 8" kit with the new +5.5" leaf pack is $3216. New front brake lines are also included and the shocks are BDS 5500. There were no details about the struts. They have had enough time to work out the details, so I imagine it is a pretty solid kit.

nice kit but priced too high IMO, why would you buy that kit when you can have a rize cheaper? just my thoughts. how many people actually break stuff on their lift kit, i mean sure abusing the hell outta if your gonna bend stuff but actually break.

I wonder what the price is on that rear leaf pack by itself and wonder how it rides...

Actually found it, 500 bucks for a pair of them. Might have to keep that in mind if I ever decide to go 2" higher in the front of my ride.

The Rize kit is more expensive than the BDS kit if you don't include the leaf springs. To pay $200 more over the Rize kit and get leaf springs seems like a logical choice.

to each his own, but if i was dropping over 3 grand on a lift, a few hundred bucks wouldnt matter. not to mention the rize has a slicker steering setup and the subframe is a work of art IMO, very dinstinguishable. i dont see many people rubbing the BDS either, not saying its a bad kit, but i'm just saying they dont seem that popular.
