Bilstein Question

I promise I did a search, I am sure this has been asked but I could not find it.

If I want to level an 08 2wd with bilstein shocks, do I have to replace the rear shocks or is it OK to just replace the front ones?

Thanks for the Help

You can just replace the front, but I'd suggest doing all four.

Can you do it?? Yes. Why on earth would you want to??? I have no idea!! While the effects would not be dangerous, I'd say your truck is going to handle funny. The Bilsteins are going to ride and handle nothing like the factory shock. It will be something you'll notice, that's for sure. The front is going to be firmer (but not in a bad way) and much more responsive than the rear. The rear's probably going to feel pretty shaggy with those Bilteins on the front. But, since it's all personal opinion on ride quality anyways, there's a chance you may not mind the way it rides or handles. I would never do it.

If it's a budget reason you're not doing the rear shocks at the same time, my recommendation would be a spacer type level lift for the front until you can do all four shocks.
