dumb suspension question
And no Rize does not make a 8" lift for the 97-03 F150's
Search around near you. Fabtech 6" is your best bet if you plan on taking this truck off road the kit will run 1500-2000 if you install it yourself.
Id go to 4wheelparts.com and compair their prices with other places! Usually they run high but IMO they do good work (at least here in tampa)
However as Wandell mentioned whiplash and full throttle make rediculously tall lifts if going this route go Full Throttle. These kits are more for show then offroading! IMHO
If you go this route google search the name and their home page comes up and you can check from there!
Make sure you post pictures!

why don't you just get a 6'' fabtech and throw a 3'' body lift on top of it? This would be better suited for performance. i know a guy with this setup on 38'' mickey thompson's that beats the **** out of his truck offroading, and it has held up. he's had this setup for several years as well.

And also he wasnt askin about them, they just got brought into it.... Thanks Wandell.... hehehehe
all a body lift does is lift the body off the frame, it won't affect your mpg anymore than a standard suspension lift.

haha i think its hilarious when people say thier lift made their mpg worse, its the tires the lift has nothing to do with it, other then possibly a slight increased air resistance
Just keep in mind, regearing will bring your MPG up. If you plan on running 38's you are going to need 4.88's. With 36's-37's you can use 4.56's!
edit and that is city driving. I got 15 on the highway this weekend!!!!
