Probably a dumb question...

I have received some rear shocks and they do not look like what I thought they would... They have a screw type thing on one end and a ring type thing on the other... And they are one solid piece with no rod sticking out... Is that what they are supposed to look like or are my fears founded? Thanks, Mac

the threaded stud goes up into the frame supports just under the bed, and the ring has a bolt pass through it to mount it to the axle.
