just installed leveling kit have a question

i just installed a 2.5" leveling kit on my 07 scab but i dont like how the ball joints sit now. they look like they are under alot of stress because of how they are angled since the lift. Can anyone shine some light on this matter? if i need to ill take a picture.

When you install a leveling kit, you will indeed put the balljoints at a higher angle. I would not worry though! I've had a 2.5" kit on my truck for over 2 years now with no issues. Many guys here have the 2.5" kits and have been running just fine. Now, if you off road a lot, you may have issues. If you mainly just do street driving, you should be ok!

Like hivoltage said, you do put more angles on your ball joints. If you`re a pavement pusher you should have no problems. If you do a lot of towing and hauling they may wear a little quicker.

thanks guys i do mostly street driving so it sounds like ill be all set. Another question is now that i have put the 2.5" level kit in the front seems higher than the back and not actually level. Anyone else run into this? and is there a way to lower the front slightly? Thanks

what year is your truck? 04-05 had more factory rake (rear end up higher) then the 06-08 so if you put a 2.5 level kit on a 04-05 then it will level it out almost perfectly. if you put a 2.5 level kit on a 06-08 your front will be up a little higher then the back. this can be fixed with either bigger blocks or an add a leaf to bring up the rear. or just get a smaller levelin kit
