The Procomp stage I lift is a good lift if your going to do mainly street driving with some mild offroading. Although if you want to fit 37's I would go with the stage II lift and crank the coils up. The stage one already has a spacer and I wouldn't stack another on top of it. Or you could get the basic Fabtech and throw the spacer on top of that.

I agree with Hash...if you want to fit 37"s you will need to go with the Stage II, since it would be unsafe to throw a spacer on a Stage I...

I highly recommend the Stage II

yes , it comes with the adjustable MX-6 shocks in the rear and the coilovers in the front. Just make sure you get an AAL for the rear...3" is what you will probably want. I have a 3" with my coilovers cranked for a total of 8" of lift front and rear...take a look at my gallery...I have plenty of room for 37" tires, but had already purchased these 35" when I changed my mind and went with the Stage II.

Hope this helps...and post some pics when she is done...regardless of what you decide.

pro comp=pro crap

get the 8" rize... it'll clear 37s no problem. by the time you get the stage 2 kit youll be sitting at the same price. you wont regret getting the rize.

Yes, the Rize is essentially just a spacer lift. However, everyone on here is in love with it due to the sexy look of the lift itself. But you will still be utilizing the stock front coils, etc., at least with the PC Stage II you get new coilover shocks in the front instead of a damn spacer.

And most of the guys bashing the Pro Comp don't even have lifted 04+ F-150 with a lift...

that is very good... yes it does use a spacer and so does the pro comp. but not only does the rize look sexy...its built better and it can offroad like no other.

i dont have to have a lifted truck to know that pro comp sucks. i have been in friends truck with the 6" lift while we were mudding and lets just say... sh*t broke. he bent the spacer on the drivers side just by driving into a small mud pit.

go to any true offroad shop and the last thing they will tell you to get is pro comp

I would recommend reading the entire thread before opening your mouth. We have been discussing the recommendation for the OP to purchase the Pro Comp Stage II versus the Stage I...going with the Stage II will get him to the 8" lift size by cranking the coils instead of his original thought of stacking a spacer on top of the Stage I which would not be safe.

Now, the Stage II for your information does not utilize a spacer at all, it utilizes new Coilovers which can be adjusted from 6" to 8" of lift depending on the owners preference. There is nothing on the Stage II that could or will break any faster than the Rize...yes, yes, yes the sexy front crossmember is nice to look at...but the thick front crossmember on the Pro Comp is just as strong in 99.9% of the bashing either will take.

I love guys making judgements on certain products without even knowing which system they are talking about...go ahead and jump on the Rize just for the sexy front crossmember...you are still utilizing the stock coils and shocks in the front...

Either way, each system has it's merits and will last a lifetime on the typical 04+ F-150. And I got my Stage II for $1800.00 which is $800.00 cheaper than the average going price for the Rize...so with the $800.00 savings I will go with my PC Stage II with new coilovers any damn day of the week...I can do without a sexy front crossmember...which a skidplate will cover anyway.

I am not bashing the Rize, it is a sexy and strong "Spacer" lift. But let's not bash the Pro Comp without knowing all the facts about both lifts.
