Post Getting Ripped Off !

I have been ripped off by my local off road shop, It is due to me not getting off my butt and doing some basic research but still

They charged me $250 pluse tax for a 2 inch RevTek leveling kit and want $650 to install it It really aggravates me when I know I could have gotten this kit for $125. Thank GOD I did not get them to install the kit

What would be a good price to have this kit installed ?

I had my NCD kit installed for about 60 bucks. The kit you purchased is more labor intensive because that have to remove the strut and take it apart to install the kit. If you purchased a kit from Auto Spring or the NCD kit it would be alot cheaper to install as the kit sits on top of the strut instead of having to take the strut apart. When I had my kit installed it only took an hour you are probably looking at about 1-1/2 a side for the kit you purchased. Hope this helps. Good luck

I would say it would be a quick install but that kit doesn't bolt right up. It requires compressing the spring and a bunch of crap. It will also harshen your ride in the front since it compresses the spring. Anyways I would just sell it and buy the Autospring kit for $90 and get it installed for practically nothing. Then you will have more money and a better ride on the truck
