I have the 5" Fabtech block on my Supercrew. I hated the Fabtech shocks that came with the lift...crap IMO! I went with the Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoirs. I can get you the all the numbers(part#...length...valving...etc) that I'm running if interested, let me know

if your running the fabtech 5" block, then you need to run either their Dirt Logic rear shocks, or another long travel shock like Fox, King, or Sway A Way

Me ? I am just running the regular ole "Performance" shocks and the 3" lift block.

I am 4x4 and running 35" tires, so I dont have anything "cranked" up. No need for extra lift for me, mine sits nice and level.

This is just what I have been told. Finished installing the Fabtech 6" lift on a 2wd. Used the 5" rear blocks and Dirt Logics at all four corners. No problems. Have heard of similiar problems when trying to run the 5" block and "performance" rear shocks. It has something to do with where it sits and how its valved. I really am not sure, but from what I have been told, perhaps it has to do with the "performance" shock bottoming out ? It really didn't make much sense to me either, but its what I was hearing.

I had a 5" block in my truck with the performance shocks and it worked fine. They never seemed to over extend.

This is what Fabtech recommended....... I used this for about 6K miles.

When I had my lift installed it came with smaller blocks. Put the 5" blocks instead and been running with same shocks for over a year now. (Fabtech Basic Kit). So far no issues.

i have a 2wd with a 5 inch block in the rear and my performance shocks bottom out and now the bushing is ruined on the inside on both the top and bottom. I am also going to add a AAL so i guess longer shocks are on the list of things to do..
