now on my 3rd set of cv's ...
about 4 months ago i busted my second cv shaft wheelin and it was replaced by my local truck shop. no problems up intill about a week ago i noticed that the upper rubber boot had cracked open and all the grease flew out onto my torsion bars. now the bottom boot is starting to go to. it is as if the rubber is dry rotting but what doesnt make sense is i have only had it for 4 months! which by the way did not consist of any wheeling. wtf? so i took it to the shop today and the mechanic is trying to say it is because of the lift kit and the bad cv angle that the rubber is terring. i called bull**** and told him he is gonna have to foot the bill for this one.
has anyone had this problem or did i get a defect cv? thanks

Brand???
I'd find out what brand they are, or made by thru another name?
Example; I would trust a TRW or MOOG part over a Autozone Duralast since most of their stuff is made in china and of poorer quality(hence no warranty).
The rubber could be cheap junk. 4 months though is quite short though.
