My left front makes a creaking noise quite often and I am unsure what it is. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be casuing this?

 

sounds like a ball joint or something, maybe the sway bar. ford is notorious for ball joints being crap, but then was 03 and older anyway.

 

I`ve been having the same problem. Already replaced lower ball jnts and uppers. But I did notice my outer tie rod cover has a tear. (replacement is on the way).I`m also going to replace sway bar links and bushing. Hope this solve the problem. Hearing these noises bugs the hell out of me.
