Just curious is all.

You know it's kind of like when you ask someone how to spell a word and they tell you to look it up in the dictionary. Well just how in the heck are you suppose to look it up if you do not know how it is spelled?

Oh and to the OP no such thing as a dumb question.
i never told him to look it up i was tellin him where the search was for future reference... i thought he was a noobie, i didnt notice him till my second post when he had his sig pic up. i apologized after i realized it was him. i have comunicated several times with him though threads.

and i did answer his question. my thing is if he is here then why not answer it. i do it for almost every noobie that ask a question. i was told when i started that the less threads the faster the site will run, dont know if that was true. but ive helped quite a few people on here... wasnt trying to be a jerk!

I understand that and I as well am not trying to be a jerk. I do tend to agree with you as far as certain questions for newbs. However it is easier and politer sometimes to simply answer someone's question and be nice and welcoming as opposed to being a smart *** and telling a newb to use the search feature. When you do this it tends to make people want to go away instead of stay. Not saying you were being a smart *** just saying it in general.

However like i said the question he asked really in my mind had no way to be looked up via the search function.

Again it is like the whole dictionary thing.
