01 Screw AAL ?

I need an add a leaf for extra capacity on my 01 supercrew with factory tow package 4 leaf pack. A friend of mine ordered a set from 4wp and he also has a factory 4 leaf pack, The add a leaf they sent is the same length as the 2nd spring up-NO GOOD. They said that that's what they sell for the 3 leaf pack and it's the same for the 4 leaf. I call BS. Any ideas?

If you just need it for carring more weight I would use a helper spring instead of a AAL
