squeeking when turning
i have this horrible squeeking sound that comming from my front driver side suspension..it sounds like its right by the bottom of the wheel.. could this be my ball joint...Thanks
could be ball joints or tie rods. Jack up the wheels and wiggle them forward and back from the sides of the tire. If you get an serious play it's tie rod ends. Now wiggle the tire forward and back from the top and bottom of the tire. If you get any serious play there it's probably the ball joints. If nothing has ever been changed, I'd just go ahead and change them all (upper/lower ball joints + inner and outer tie rod ends) to save yourself trouble further down the road. That's what I did and couldn't be happier.

also, just a possability, the pitman arm?
mine sqeeked real bad and then i had it greased and the squeak was gone. I'm not sure if that part is just for 2wd or not, but its another suggestion

def. check your ball joints. I just realized that I have a bad passenger side lower ball joint. It pops pretty bad in one spot where the the ball joint is popping. Needless to say I will be replacing both lower ball joints this weekend. I saw that it has a snap ring on top of the a-arm...can I just remove the ring hit the joint out from the bottom and it will pop out of the top.
