2" or 2.5" Leveling kit for my 05?

I'm going to be ordering an AS leveling kit tomorrow and need help deciding which to get........Do I go w/ the 2" or 2.5" kit?

I have an 05 SuperCrew 4x4 w/ the factory 18's if that helps any.

Any pics would be very helpful!

Thanks Guys!

i guess it will depend on what size tire you plan on running..if you keep the 18's with stock tires then go with the 2" if you are looking to put 35's on go with the 2.5". i have the 2.5" kit and now i have to get a add a leaf in the rear because it looks a bit higher in the front. the truck is actually level but the gap between the top of the fender and the top of the tire is larger in the front so it appears to sag in the rear

I was in the same dilemma over the weekend and ordered the 2.5" AS. Then e-mailed him and switched to the 2". I hope it was the right decision. I was told the '04-'05 had an extra leaf in the back. The 2" looks perfect on the newer ones. Will post pics when I receive it and get it installed on my '05 4x4 Screw.

2" anything more makes a harsh angle on the upper control arm. I have the 2" and you can see a picture in my gallery of the angle, it is kinda steep with just that.

Question to Blackout-FX4

Hey I was wondering what size rim and tire you have? Also, what kind of tire did you go with? I am going to go with the KMC XD's as well and I like to look you have. Do you only have the 2.5" lift in it? Would it work with the 2"?

i have a 2.5 autospring leveling kit. my rims are 22" and tires are 325/50/22(35")
A 2" kit will not allow enough room for this wheel/tire combo

i'm planning on running a 22 also on my 06 screw and i like the look you have with the 325/55's. do you have any problems with that wide of a tire? and what kind of offset and back spacing on wheels?
