3 inch body and 4 inch suspension

3 inch body and 4 inch suspension

Ive got a 2000 f150 5.4l ext cab 4x4 with a 3 inch body and 35's and was thinkin about getting a 4 inchsuspension and some 37x12.50x17. Would these fit and will I lose alot of power

Yes they will fit if you also crank the torsion bars.I've seen it done plenty of times before.Yes you will lose more power and will want to think about regearing also.Why not just go a 6in suspension lift?

yeah def have to regear. i put 35 on my 4x4 and it was a dog. def gonna re gear when i go back up in size.

I agree. Go ahead and get a 6 inch lift and regear.

I'm only getting a 4 because all i want is 37's. IMO a 3 inch body 6 inch suspension, the 37's would look to small.

^^^ not exactly the with the 6 + 3 you can clear 38's and thats with the torsion bars cranked a bit, 37's would look fine with that setup maybe even a little better.

but either way its gonna look good! if you go 6+3 you always have room to go to 38's if later desired!
