Question about blocks/rear lift
Question about blocks/rear lift
I have an 07 f150 2wd. I was planning on air bagging but to the ridiculous cost of it i can fathom spending that much money.
SO i'm going to lift it.. which is what i wanted to do in the first place
I'm planning on a 6in fabtech, because i am NOT a fan of spacers.
By looking at chadzf150's truck, I like the look he has with the 5 inch block. Is there any other way to get the same 5" with out using a 5" block.. 3 inches is probably the biggest block i would feel comfortable with
Unless I'm assured i will have no chance of any problem with a 5" block, i highly doubt i'll consider it.

If your deadset against rear blocks, skyjacker makes a 6" lift that uses leaf springs in the rear and no block at all. Since you have a 2wd, your only choice for a lift is fagtech, as they are the only ones that make a 6" lift for 2wd's.
You can buy the skyjacker leafs seperatly and replace the rear blocks on the fagtech with the springs.

To my surprise, skyjacker does have a 2wd 6" lift now!

Does anyone know anything about it?

I only used the block (3") that came in the procomp lift and had my rear leafs re-arched and a leaf added. It cost $375 and turned out great. They re-arched them and made the truck sit level with the 3" blocks. It's the best bang for your buck. DBS (?) makes a 5" leaf pack and costs about $800.
