Everyone should have kept quiet and not called. I bet they wouldn't have even noticed.

I don't see why they aren't reputable. Everybody makes mistakes and they are offering you guys lifts at cost. Everyone knew from the beginning that the listing was a mistake, and you ordered anyway. It sucks things didn't work out, but don't be surprised.

Because I was told by one of their reps earlier in the day that the order was going to be honored, I went ahead and ordered tires. When she called and accused me of lying about the conversation I had just 2 hours earlier, I was p o'ed.

I wasn't mad because they weren't selling me the lift at $730, I was mad because I don't like being called a liar when the other person does not have all the facts. I told her about the conversation I had and when she looked up my account, she saw that I had indeed had that conversation and the rep did document what he had told me.

Plus the fact that now I had to cancel the tires I ordered, again because of the company's rep, I wanted her to know how I felt about their company. Yes, I could have bought a lift at their cost but on principle I would rather buy from someone who has good customer service not just a cheap price.

And also, I'm sure people here have had no problems with them in the past and that they are a good company to order from. I am also glad for those that got their lifts at a decent price. I however, will not deal with them.

There must be some issues when listing these cause I got mine cheap about a year ago from another company. They said it was an error on their part but still honored it.

They may have noticed, they may have not noticed. One thing is for sure, noone did themselves any favors calling multiple times and pratically announcing the pricing issue.

Ok, that makes sense and i stand corrected. I had no idea they had called you a liar. After that i would not want to buy from them either.

I would agree with that. Trouble is, I don't think anybody wanted to order, then get a sudden price "fix" and have the hassle of trying to cancel or send back the $2,000+ kit.

Fortunately, now we all know what to do if/when we find a similar situation. So everyone needs to start scouring the web and post here when you find some screw-up out there.
