So I started pricing tires today at the local 4wd shop and we starting talking about price for installing the lift. I may do it myself but it doesn't hurt to ask. The owner says that they prefer to install lifts that you buy from them so I said fine, match the price and I will gladly cancel my order and buy it from you. Then I went online and showed him the confirmation email.

Needless to say, he was stunned. He told me that there was no way he could match that. He gave me an estimate of $450 - $550 for the install. Price for tires mounted and balanced would be $1076 for Cooper - $1272 for BFG - $1289 for Toyo (all 35x12.5x18 or equivalant). I'm going with stock rims for now because I wasn't planning to do this, I was planning for just a level kit and 33's but I couldn't pass up this price.

That is an awesome price for that kit. I dont even have my new truck yet and I may go ahead and get the lift.

Talking about shocks, if there is a way to opt out of ordering shocks with the lift do it. And then order Bilstiens seperatly.
