Question help please! im new to lifting and trucking!

I currently have a 07 F-150 XL 2wd and I love the look of big trucks and it would be awesome for my truck to be there. Is there any way to not feel every single bump in the road? Is there some kit (or a combination of kits) to achieve a 2 and a half inch lift and a smooth ride? Or should I go for a 4 inch kit?

Does anyone have a picture of a pair of trucks? One that has a 4 inch lift next to one that has a 2 and a half inch lift?

Also, what is the biggest size of tire I could go with this lift with no rubbing?

Thanks a ton!

You can install a 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit and not affect your ride. This will allow you to fit a 33 inch tire using your OEM wheels or a wheel with similar specs. I don't know of anyone that makes a 4 inch kit for 4x2's. Pro Comp and Fabtech make 6 inch lifts for the 4x2's. These will allow you to fit 35's.

Most aftermarket shocks are valved stiffer than oem but a lot of members like the Bilstiens, which also feature adjustable spring preload that eliminates the need for a leveling kit.

A leveling kit combined with AT's or MT's is going to ride a little worse than stock. Depending on the tires you have now, most AT's are at least D range (meaning more weight capacity, stiffer sidewall, harder riding.)

My trucks rides slightly worse than stock, but still better than any older pickup I've driven.
