middle of install

installing a 2.5 AS and i got stuck on the first bolt! I was trying to take off the 18mm bolt on the underside of the sway bar, i got it loose then i turned it and turned it but it just doesnt come off. i looked for something spinning on top to put a wrench on but their is nothin. did i ruin the thread? sorry if this is a dumb question. thanks

Use the 18mm wrench and a smaller one to hold the the linkage. Hope this makes sense.

sorry that doesnt make sense i dont see where to put the wrench and i dont see anything spinning. I feel so dumb because i cant even install i leveling kit!

Look at the nut And look at the end of bolt . You should be able to put a small socket at the end of that bolt and turn your wrench to loosen the nut. You may have to this with your upper balljoint as well. Hope this helps.

I used vice grips to attach to the square part at the bottom of the bolt. Then used an open end wrench to loosen the nut. Same will need to be done to tighten. Good luck!

y dont u just unbolt the bottom part of it instead? under your lower control arm..

i took the nut off the top of the sway bar when i did mine you can hold a wrench on the sway bar link while your taking the nut off its much easier
