Just finished install and it was a pain. Mainly because my exhaust was in the way of my leaf spring when i unhooked them. It sits just perfect now. I had a problem with the shackle, it was to skinny and i had to bend it wider. That was a pain in the azz. I have pix of the shackle but my pix of the truck don't do any good because the area i live in is hilly. I'll try and get some shots on a flat surface later.

Thanks. I just put on the 36" iroks and i lovem too. Somehow my truck made 35's look small.

You should be happy with it, there is no change in the ride. I'm surpised this isn't a popular mod, aal change your ride quality and there more expensive, and harder to install.

Thanks for the complimant. I have the Procomp stage 2 with the skid plate. 36x13.5-17 irok radials wrapped around moto metal 957's. I think i've finally got it looking just the way i want it.

yeah im totally ready for it i love watching the money grow for it, supposedly you need at least a 6" SL and a 2" BL to fit 36's but im going to start out with the Fabtech 6" and keep my torsion bars cranked i like the look of the tires like yours not too much space but just enough.

im hoping it all comes together as good as yours did!

I think you may be ok with just suspension lift. I just have the 6" without my coils cranked. With trimming i only rub at a quarter turn while going fast into a drivway. I think with your torsion bars cranked you would be ok.

Nice to see another 04+ lifted and still on 17's.

I want to run 36" Iroks as well when these Pro Comp mud terrains wear out. I may have to add some more lift though, as I am sporting the basic Pro Comp 6" lift. I plan on getting coilovers and cranking them up a little bit.

As for the AAL changing your ride? Yes, mine made the truck ride better. When I lift the front some more, I think that shackle kit is going to be ordered for the rear.

Pro Comp does offer a new 5.5 inch block for the rear to eliminate the double stack. You gain an inch over the regular kit and it looks great.

I haven't used one of these types, but I did replace one of my shackles with an OEM shackle. It took about 30 minutes. I'd never done it before either. Just need to be careful that the truck is jacked up enough so the spring doesn't release and smash into you or the bottom of the bed
