Rear end not centered

I noticed that the rear end of my new 2007 f150 screw seems to be shifted to the right when looking at it from the rear. I recently installed 2in rear lowering shackles which made it more obvious. I other words, the pass side rear tire is lined up with the fender and the driver side tire is tucked under the fender. It is not as noticible as I make it sound....it seems to be only about a half of an inch difference. But I'm picky about my truck and its driving me crazy!! My 1998 had the same issue but I never lowered it so i didnt care. Its not the shackles because it was the same way stock. Anyone got any suggestions?

Check to make sure your box isn't crooked. Measure from the inside of the frame to the rim. and measure from inside of the frame to inside of the wheel well.

I did. The box is centered on the frame. Everything attached to the frame is true to the frame. The shackles are also exactly the same on both sides. And the wheels are true to the axle.

The tires are 1/2 inch different from the frame and from the box, and about 1/4 different from the edge of the leaf spring. Its almost like the leaf spring is bowed sideways, and not placing the axle correctly.

The leaf springs are about 1/2 inch different from the frame in the middle but become the same as i measure closer to the mountings at each end.

Hmmmm Very interesting. You could have bent brakets, but that would be hard to do with a crash of some sort. Are the drop shackels universal or left and right?
