Differences, YES

I didn't catch what years your refering to but, The bends of a front bar are different. If you have a 4wd the easiest thing you can do is go to a dismantle yard and get a Expedition front bar. The heavier Expedition has a MUCH larger front bar than a F150.
As for rear, I have never seen a stock bar in a 97-03 except for the Lightning. I'm personally swaping in the aftermarket rear bar from my Expedition into my F150. I just checked and I think I can do it, I will simply need a pair of axle leaf spring mounts to do it and two axle U bolts to fasten. It's basically how Ford mounted a rear bar on the LIghtning anyway.

anti sway bar question

Yeah, My trucks an 05 screw, I want the whole Roush 4x4 susspension kit. but right now the powers that be have cut my O.T. and I saw a listing for a Saleen bar for the 150 and it was reasonable but couldnt get a straight answer whether it would work on my 4x4 . I like you Idea on the rear sway bar Ill have to roll under a few more trucks to check out how there set up. I know lowering isnt a favorite here. But I have a built jeep cj for my offroading, this ones the kid carrier / cruiser / with a need for speed.
