Fabtech Or PRo Comp

do you guys know any pros or cons about these lifts. I heard that the pro Comp rides a little stiff.

Fabtech= good lift
Pro Comp=good lift if stage II
Normally people try to stay away from the pro comp stage 1 because of the spacer.

I unfortunately have to wait until my banker (my wife) forgets how much I spent on the lift/wheels/tires before I can get the skid plate...

I do agree though...the skid plate finishes off the truck nicely!

Nothing wrong with either lift. The Fabtech is a little higher quality.

If your going with procomp I think you should go with the stage II nothing wrong with the basic procomp but I just dont like the spacer so I upgraded mine to coils. The ride is good with both.....

I have decided to go with a 6" lift and my truck will see no off road time. Would the PC stage 1 with 35's be ok for a daily driver that sees about 8000 miles a year?

If your going to see NO off road time, the Pro-Comp stage one (with skid plate, cuz it looks so much better!!) would be your best bet, and let you save a little bit of money (over Fabtech)

If you plan on hitting any dirt (off roading) I would highly suggest Fabtech. Better suited for "harsher" use. Pro-Comp has a lower hanging and thinner front cross member, also they require you to stack your rear blocks, which is 100% fine with pavement or light use, once you start getting into it tho, the stacked blocks will cause axle wrap/hop and the front cross member, well, I'd be nervous about slamming it into anything. IMO.
