Fabtech Lift

OK..........6" basic fabtech lift with 5" block....take out stock block and put in 5" it sits level right??????????

Now put a 2" spacer on the front, you need a 2" add a leaf to sit level.......RIGHT????

I think you will be fine without doing the add-a-leaf. The 5" block puts the rear of the truck up quite a bit.

I would say do the lift and the spacer, with the 5" block, and see how it is. If you still don't like it, change it out. I have a 1.5 spacer on the front of my truck with a 6" fabtech and the 5" block. It sits pretty level.... I don't think there are any pics in my gallery with that setup, but I am sure someone here has done the same thing. I have since taken the 5" block out and put a CST 3.5" block in.

Did you put the 5" block on top of the stock block?

Never ever stack the blocks.Espesacially considering the wonderful roads that we have here in Chicago. You take the chance of spitting one or both of the blocks out under axle wrap or a hard bump.

If you are running the Fabtech lift, and two inch front spacer, the rear 5" block should bring you up to level. I agree, i would run that set-up first and see how it looks. Unless you plan on hauling often or towing. Then the AAL will help keep your rear from squating too much.

And yes, do NOT stack blocks. Causes bad axle hop/wrap and just isn't the best set-up.
