Just be prepared to drop some big $$$ on a 12'' kit, tires, and some serious gears for a 4.6L. Other than that, it'll be sweet.

ohh we both have 4x4 so it would be that application the only reason to lift a 2wd is if its a pavement truck... and the both of us do alot of offroading

If he does a lot of offroading, stay away from a 12" kit.

Come on, who are you trying to kid?

Does a lot more damage than you think.

But, it's your truck so do as you please. And 38's on a 12" will look fine.

ModBargains dot com has the Rize 12" with brake lines, front driveshaft, King coilovers and King rear shocks for just over 5k. That does not include any rear lift.

how wide are those 38's, they might look kinda small on a 12". i would rather get 8" with a spacer and some after market UCA's. such as a CST or a RIZE with TC UCA's.

x2. straight axle conversion would be a much better option if you really do offroad it a lot.

12" IFS that you are going to beat on is NOT going to last, stuff is going to break much easier.

It will look fine theres people with that set up but fulltrottle and it looks sweet. the thing about offroading is you still have the same steal thats on a 6in lift but its seperated 12in from body to tires, so it puts alot of pressure when offroading and weight, Ive done some stupid things with my kit but go for it.
