I was in the tire store the other day to get a tire fixed, and the guy
told me that I needed control arms, upper and lower ball joints and
pitman arm. My question is what can go wrong with a control arm
except for the bushings and ball joint am I missing something.

 

hes probably talking about uppers...they are connected to the upper ball joints
