torision bar questions

i cranked the torsions bars up today, 5 full turns on both sides. It gave the truck some more clearance... ab out an inch. Is it safe to keep tightening the torsion bars, to get a little more clearance?

its ok in reason! dont over tighten them to the point they are all the way up! i got roughly 2" out of mine, a hair more. but you have to keep an eye on your cv angles and ball joint angles!

I've ran mine cranked full up on two trucks now with a total combined mileage of about 170,000 with zero problems.

I had a 96 Chevy 4x4 that I cranked them on and beat it offroad a lot. The only negative side effect I found was a stiffened ride. Not sure about the F150, but I would think you are fine.
