Will make no difference in either. It will reduce center of gravity a little bit, but you will probably not notice any ride difference. As far as towing goes, you will need less of a drop hitch and you will be starting at a lower point when you hook up the trailer, so your rear end will be sitting lower overall.

WRONG! It will lower your tounge weight and payload capacity. It makes the rear end "softer" and "looser" so yes you loose tounge, and payload. Plus you are 2" closer to the bump stops.

Thats not to say you can't do stuff with a lowered truck, you just have to keep an eye on the suspension as you load it up.

this is my truck lowered 3" up front and a 3" hanger towing a car.

Ride quality, most people will like the difference. To me its worth it. Ive got a 2" shackle for sale if you want it, should fit any truck with a 2" leaf spring.

The 2' shakles in the rear didn't change a lot on mine. The ride might be slightly different, maybe firmer, but hardly noticable. I do only light towing and hauling, so no difference there. The biggest hassle was getting the hitch reversed so it lined up with my trailer tounge again.

It sure looks a lot better!

Damn blue, a 2 foot shackle, so your frame is inside the ground?

When I decided to lower it, I didn't fart around. I am thinking of dropping the front now!
