Backspacing question???

Hello guys (and gals), I'm new to the site so bare with me. I have a 07 FX4 and I'm putting a Fabtech 6" lift with bilstein shocks. The rims that i want are MKW M19 series, 20x9 with 5.39" backspacing. I want to run a 35X13.5 cooper STT tire. Do you think I will have a problem with rubbing???

here is the wheel

I think you would be fine (don't hold me to it).

I am running the Fabtech 6" lift with Pro comp wheels that have 4.75" of BS. They rubbed a little bit, but work for me. I know I have seen guys run 5" of BS on the Fabtech lift.

Which Bilsteins are you going to run with the Fabtech lift ? I know the
5150's work for the rear... but what about the front ? ?

wow... I stand corrected. I was under the impression the 5100's weren't long enough for lifted applications. Apparently they changed that ! Awesome man, well then thats going to be a "kush" ride. Good find.

I believe you will be fine with that much B.S. At the most you will have to trim a small amount off the front valance (black plastic under your bumper). While I have a little more lift than you will have (cranked coilovers) you should be fine and you will definitely love the look of the 35/13.5 tires. They look so much more meaty than a 12.5" tire.

Good luck and post pics when she is done!

I'm really digging these wheels now! Cruiser Alloy 921c with 4.75" backspacing.... I know that these will definitely fit!

those wheels are very nice. They will just stick out a little further than your original choice. Either way I think you will be fine!

So those wheels with a 13.5 wide tire should be looking sweet eh?

Definitely!

You will not regret going with the 13.5" tire! I would look for them in a 18 or 20X10 size...
