Body Lift Appointment

Well after a long time of waiting, I finally am going to get my 3"PA bodly lift w/gap guards installed. I don't have the time or resources to do it myself, but I have a buddy that owns a shop here in my home town is going to do it for $300.00 and a case of beer( I will probably owe a favor down the road too). Anyway it gets installed March 3rd, so I will post pics when it's done.

$300 is a great price for the install, that is definately a "Buddy" price... Wish I had a buddy like that. But we had fun installing mine... Lot's of these.

If you want to help your buddy out, pick up a $4 can of PB Blast and start soaking the all of the body bolts daily for the next week before you bring it in, especially the bed bolts.

Also, has he installed them before on a 97-03 F150 or is this his first one? There's a few pointers in my gallery that will save him some time if he doesn't know about them.

I do like your truck, it's going to look a lot better once the BL is on. Post pics when you're done.

Sounds great, thanks. Buddy pricing is great, I run a boardshop here in town, so I am sure he is going to want buddy pricing for some wakeboards and shoes for his kids. I scratch your back you scratch mine type deal.

Thanks, I was limited on what wheels I can put on my truck(wonderful 7 lugs) I love my tires, they work great in mud and snow and not noisy at all on the pavement.

Congrats and good luck! I did mine last september and I love it. I haven't got the gap guards on yet because I was waiting to get the rust prevention coating done and I wanted the guys to make sure they could get everywhere. Now my garage is too cold to work in (ontario, canada). I got my 3" PA lift installed for 700 dollars (including mouninting new tires on new rims and balancing). Take a look at my pictures to get an idea of what it looks like. BTW I have a 2001 supercrew.

Ahh, a fellow Canadian, anyway, your truck is pretty damn sweet. I like your rim and tire combo. Looks like you got a preety sweet deal on your setup too. I also am wanting to get a new under coating too, but I will do it when it warms up a bit here too.
