I am in a bundle!!! HELP!!!

Alright guys im in a bundle on what to do to my truck. I was thinkin about gettin a 6 inch lift but my bro has convinced me that everyone has 6inch lifts on there trucks so why don't i do something different then everyone else. So i started to look into the king coilover kit and king shocks for the rear and puttin glass on the front. What do you guys think about that? Does anyone have the kings on their truck? How is the ride on and off-road? Any advice is appreciated! thanks in advance!
-Mike!

I would but i don't have the money for that kit and i don't have the money for the gears and bigger tires i would have to get. I already have my wheels and tires with a leveling kit on my truck. I just want to do something different then everyone esle ya know!

So your wanting to go with the King Coils and a leveling kit ?

You wouldn't get any more lift up front then what the leveling kit does.

And you wouldn't need any glass work, you wouldn't have enough flex to warrant it (i think).

Why not get a 3" body lift for a couple hundred dollars and throw some 35's on there. You won't be THAT much lower than a 6" suspension lift. Then when you have some more funds, add a 6" or larger suspension lift for a total of 9" or more. Just a suggestion. BL's can look really good if they are done right.

It sounds like money might be an issue, this would be a cheap alternative until you can put something bigger underneath.

no what i am sayin is i already have a leveling kit with my wheels and tires. so i would either go with the 2.5 king coils and the ressys in the rear and some glass for a pre-runner look. something different ya know. or just a standard 6 inch likft kit ilke everyone else. i have the money for the 6in. just not an 8 in. or up cause then i will need bigger tires and gears.! get my drift guys.

Ya bud i get ya. Either of those options sounds good to me. Just depends on what you want. If your lookin for somethin different then your gonna have to come up with that one on your own. I dont know much about the kings. My suggestion is just go with the 6 inch. Most people are driving stock trucks around anyway so a 6 inch will give u all the difference you need. Plus it will look the best IMO.

awww... gotcha now Mike. Sorry about that.

Yes, the kings out back would be SWEET! And should give you a very nice ride.

Glasswork up front would be sweet, and definately set your truck apart. You could go that route, then later buy some Camburg Upper Control Arms and maybe even their long travel kit.

Or, if money is the issue, you can run a leveling kit, some bigger tires, and save up for which ever route you want later. Best advice I could give ya, is don't settle for something. This is your truck, wait to do what you want how you want properly, other wise you may regret it down the road.

I say go with a 4 or 6 inch lift to replace that leveling kit and bring your angles back to normal, and then save up for some 35s. It will look great.

Thats what i was thinkin man. It just seems that every corner i turn theres a lifted f150 so why not be different ya know! Who knows i might just decide to lift it because i won't be doin any EXTREME off roading. The only offroading i do are trails...mud..and sand dunes. Thats about it. Other then that is a Daily Driver for me! If i lift it i am most likely going with RCD tho. Thanks for all your opinions guys. Much appreciated!
