Re-Gearing

Where is the best place to get the front of my truck re-geared? I am in southern California (Orange County). I just need the front done, because a drunk driver hit my truck while parked, and the rear axle broke. I am able to get gears put in the rear (4:56) under my insurance , I will just need the front done to match. I have checked with Outlaw Offroad, but they quoted $650. Is that good, or is there any other places to check? Thanks for the help.... also thought I would post some pics.

honestly, that sounds decent to me. I had mine done front and back, 4.56s, for $1200. Got a small deal, was originally gunna be $1375. So, $650 for the front sounds like a pretty good deal. Srry bout the accident.

Yeah $650 is good. I paid $450 for my rear but it now needs adjustment and I am pretty sure he won't do it. I guess you get what you pay for.

I would run with that price if its all inclusive. What kind of gears? I think I spent 300 in parts alone. If you factor in tax and oil, thats a good install price.

Mine is costing me 1400 parts/labor/tax for both front and back so that sounds like a good deal to me.

Sorry to hear about the wreck man :crap:

Thanks guys..... I will go with Outlaw Offroad then. That price included Precision Gears. 4wp was about $1100 for just the front! It seems to me that they are always high on their prices.
