I don't think its hard, but the first side will probably give you trouble. Then once you get it the next side will be a breeze.

It really isnt hard at all. The best piece of advice that i can give you is to have a couple of C-clamps that you can hold the spring pack together once you have the AAL in. Or another set of hands will work to. If you have any questions let me know I just did mine about a month ago and love it. I used the AS 1.5" AAL. I dont know for sure, but I think an AAL is a little bit cheaper for your year truck than the 04-present. Good luck

I bought my Rough Country AAL from JC Whitney. Cheapest price and free shipping. If you need further instructions on installing these ask me and I'll type up what I did which was fairly simple. Let me know...

Oh Yeah, if you install tha AAl it will put the rear of your truck 2-3" higher than the front (depending on which AAL you purchase). So plan on cranking the torsion bars to level it out.

Auto Spring. It's a brand of coilover spacer lift.

Hmmm, well then, perhaps I should start on the second side first to get some practice instead of tackling the hard side first. Which is the easy side?

Yea, an abbreviation sticky would be nice. I spent some time trying to figure out AS and AAL myself.

Being a motorcycle guy I got confused on LP from a poster. LP = Lockhart Phillips. Or it could mean Low Profile when talking about toolboxes.
