Which Shock?

I have OEM shocks on my truck right now and I am changing them soon. What does everyone recomend, Im not looking for real high end deal. Just a middle of the road good shock that can handle some light off roading. Nothing real serious while offroad.

I'd like to stay under $40 per shock.

98 4.6L Supercab 4x4.

i just put a full set of Bilsteins on my 01 supercrew and they seem really good so far. I got them at shockwarehouse.com (I think you get a 5% discount for using the promo code 'f150' when checking out). good luck

I've got Bilstiens also and love them. I probably won't run any other shock, but you're not going to find them for $40 a shock. Best price I've seen is $250 for all 4...

I also plan on having this truck for no more than 3 years or about 45000 more miles tops!

My plan is to either get a brand new 2010 or 2011.

Save the money for buying shocks, and put it in a jar for your down payment on the new F-150. fugettabout them shocks!

i have a set of Rancho shocks on my Jeep Wrangler and they do well. they were a little stiff when they were first put on but after a few miles they broke in pretty well. and you can get them for about 50 bucks a shock.
