2003 Lower Ball Joints
I actually don't think there is a "norm" on this. Too many variables....lift, tire size/weight, how you drive or abuse it, etc, etc. I've seen guys get much less than you and I've got 80k on my originals with lift/big tires and they're still solid. My uppers went out about 25k ago, but the lowers are going strong.
i did a full front end at 110k, i did upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, a new center link, and all new upper control arms. they were soo bad, im suprised my balljoints didnt seperate.
I started having vibration problems. You can check them by jacking the front of the truck off the ground, grabbing the tires and trying to move them. Grab them at the 12 and 6 o'clock position. If you can move it, your ball joints are bad. Grab it again at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. If you can move it that way the tie rod ends are bad.
