Want to upgrade in stages, will this work?

I have a 2005 FX4 SREW stock now but I want to upgrade as I can afford it. This is my plan but I wanted to make sure it would all work before I take the plung.

1. Bilstein Adjustable shocks and 325/65/18 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO (on stock rims for now)

2. KMC XD Monster 18x9 rims.

3. Rancho 4" lift (reusing the bilstein shocks without the extra 2" lift)

I think this will all work but may be overlooking something, so any feedback would be great. Also the XD monsters come in both -12 and 18 offset and I do not know which one will fit. I don't want the tires to stick out too far from stock (1-2" would be perfect)

Thanks

I think I would skip the Bilstiens and use an Autospring leveling kit since the Rancho comes with new coilover shocks.

i would just save up the $5k that this is all gonna cost and do it all at once. Patience is a virtue and you will end up spending more money in the end if you do it in increments.

Wandell if I am not mistaken the Rancho kit does not come with any shocks, one has to add them on so I thought I would go with Bilstein rather than the adjustable Rancho shocks. Also what do you think about the wheel backspacing? -12 or 18

Patience...I wish I had some

I'm not sure, but I think the Rancho kit comes with 4 shocks. Also, unless Rancho specifies otherwise, I'd want 5 to 6 inches of backspacing on a 9 inch wide wheel.
