welcome to the site bud. Ya got yourself a quality truck there !

First off, i would stop looking at pro-Comp lifts. not the highest in quality IMO. I would look more at Fabtech. Their prices are more then reasonable and they come with some better features. Pro-comp uses aluminum rear lifts blocks and makes you stack them ontop of your existing rear blocks. Not safe! Fabtech gives you steel blocks that REAPLCE the existing blocks. Pro-Comp's basic lift gives you HUGE spacers up front so you can re-use the stock shocks and springs. Fabtech Basic kit gives you all new shocks and a new spring perch for your stock spring. Finally, Pro-Comp makes a horrible looking front cross member, Fabtech's just looks nicers and seems to have better ground clearence.
I got my Fabtech 6" basic lift for under $1400 delivered. (feel free to ask more if ya got more)

6inch lift will look good no doubt about it alot of guys here either have a 6 or an 8 and they all look good. with a 6inch lift you will be able to fit 35s the biggest if not mistaken and if you add the body lift you can fit bigger tires but if you go bigger than 35s you will want to re gear. also with the body lift you prob want gap guards and also side steps so it hides the frame of the truck but either way they all look good. go with a 6inch first and if u want more go with a body lift to add the 3 extra inches but they all say once you get a lift you will always want to go bigger

Hey thanks guys... Now I don't a lot of money hahaha that's always the best part... If I get the kit put on do I have to get rims and tires right away? Or will that look totally dumb and not be good for my truck?

it will look kinda goofy, and you should be careful because you center of gravity will be higher, but i think you will be ok. It depends on the wheels you have. I know the fabtech can run factory backspacing wheels. I cant remember about the procomp....

theres 3 kits i would put on my truck, stage 2 pro comp, stage 2 fabtech, and the rancho kit. 6inch looks great and is worth the money. if you dont have enough money up front to spend the extra money for the stage 2 kit, wait until you do, trust me, its worth it!!!

The Pro Comp is a good lift, but the Fabtech and Rize are a little better quality.
