i recomend 4.56 gears and with that 6" lift i'd personally go 35x12.50x20 and some wheels with anywhere from 4.5-5" backspacing

ok thanks man.i do have another question.im trying to cover all my bases.since i am lifting the truck,is there anything with the pinion angle i need to know about?i know when you lower a truck there are sometimes driveline issues.i know one guy had to get a shorter drive shaft when he lowered and another guy kept having driveshaft vibration issues after lowering.i figured i should cover me behind.i know im not lowering but im assuming the driveline angle would change.

The 6" Fabtech lift will come with a spacer to add to your d/s. No issue there to worry about.

I'd go with a 35x12.50 on a 9 inch wheel with 5 inches of backspacing.

all the above is great advice, however, if you ever plan on going with 37s, get 4.88s instead of 4.56s. a good gear is precisions and yukons.

I have a 6" Fabtech on my 2WD and this is exactly the setup I have. As far as gears I went with a set of Yukon 4.56's and I couldn't be happier.

hey guys i have another question.i have been doing some research.i like the look of the 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift.how bad is the install on a body lift?or should i just go with the rize 8 inch lift.the more im looking i want 22 inch wheels with 37s.there is a look im wanting to go for.i seen a few trucks on here that are what i want.thanks for answering and dealing with all the questions i dont want to kick myself in the butt later.

Everyone says body lifts are a royal pain to install on the 04-08's. And Rize doesn't make a lift kit for 4x2's.
